Revolutionary Road
Day 1
Today is a travel day. Fly into Philadelphia and meet your group at the Welcome dinner. Our hotel is conveniently located near the old historic district of Philadelphia. It is a very walkable city, so if you arrive early, there is plenty to see. D.
Day 2
Philadelphia stands as a living testament to the indomitable spirit of the American Revolution. As you traverse its cobbled streets and historic landmarks, you're not just walking through a city; you're stepping back in time to witness the birth of a nation. Sites such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Christ Church and the Betsy Ross house are among the few witness buildings to the new ideas of freedom. B.
Day 3
After an informative visit to the Museum of the American Revolution, we will make our way towards New Jersey, just outside of Manhattan, New York. On our way we will visit Valley Forge and the fatal duel site of Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. Dinner will be in charming Hoboken. B.D.
Day 4
As you stroll through the bustling streets of Lower Manhattan, you're treading upon hallowed ground, where the echoes of revolution still resonate. This historic district, steeped in tales of rebellion and resilience, played a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of the United States. Discover the landmarks and stories that define Lower Manhattan's indelible imprint on the American Revolution. We will visit the Bowling Green, Trinity Church, Federal Hall and enjoy lunch at Fraunce's Tavern where Washington gave his famous Farewell speech at the close of the War. After a stop at Hamilton Grange we make our way to Boston. B. D.
Day 5
After a visit to the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church, the story unfolds as we traverse to the Lexington Green and Concord where on the morn of April 19, 1775, "the shot was heard around the world." Both skirmishes claim to be "that" shot, but we will learn the history and let you decide. Dinner tonight will be at the historic Colonial Inn, which dates back to 1716. B.D.

Day 6
This morning we will visit the John Adams Historic Site and the Church of Presidents in Quincy. Lunch and free time on your own at the history Faneuil Hall/Quincy Marketplace. A short walking tour will be available for those who would like to walk part of the Freedom Trail. This afternoon we will join the Revolution and throw tea into the Boston harbor at the fun and education Tea Party Ships Museum. B.

Day 7
As we conclude our journey through Boston's revolutionary landmarks, Bunker Hill Monument and the USS Constitution (built in 1797) stand as poignant reminders of the sacrifices, valor, and ideals that define the American spirit. From the heights of Bunker Hill to the decks of "Old Ironsides," these iconic sites invite visitors to reflect on the courage of patriots, the evolution of democracy, and the enduring legacy of the American Revolution. This afternoon we make our way to Boston Logan for your flight home.
